Michael Enright was born in the Bronx, was raised in Brooklyn, worked most of his life in Manhattan and now resides in Staten Island. Once upon a time he taught Freshman Comp at NYC colleges, labored mightily on his vacuous Ph.D. dissertation in the literachoor department of Columbia U and published fiction in print journals. Then, he grew ashamed of his poverty and, almost without warning, metamorphosed into a corporate litigation lawyer. He recently returned to writing fiction as therapy for a head wound sustained from being dropped on his head by an irate opposing counsel.
